Wilbur Lee Hensley, age 93 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 at his home. He was born in San Springs, Oklahoma on April 15th, 1923.

Wilbur was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. He attended Northview Church in Marshall. He was a lifelong farmer. His working history included running a fruit and vegetable stand for approximately 20 years, a bus driver for Marshall Schools for many years and a heavy equipment operator for Searcy County for 8 years. Wilbur enjoyed going to the Searcy County Senior Center. He loved to play dominoes, Skip Bo and Pitch. Everyone loved to be his partner for dominoes because he always came out the winner. In younger years Wilbur enjoyed playing softball. He had a wonderful laugh and sense of humor that will be missed by friends and family alike.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia (Thompson) Hensley; mother, Minnie (Hensley) Keener; and brother, Ralph Hensley.
Survivors include one son, Wilbur E. Hensley and wife Sharon of Marshall; daughters, Karen Lawrence and husband Bill of Marshall, Jeneane Ragland and husband Roy Dale, also of Marshall and Sheila Battershell of Springdale; twelve grandchildren, Stephen, Sabrina, Katrina, Greg, Mark, Melissa, Kasondra, Vanessa, Clarissa, Dione, Darren and Clint; thirty-six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wilbur will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. James Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, January 6th, 2017 in the Chapel. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Lawrence, Mark Hensley, Darren Ragland, Clint Ragland, Jim Henry and Greg Hensley. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lawrence and Roy Dale Ragland.
