Norma Louise Carrick, age 94 of The Woodlands, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Louise was born to the late Dave and Rose Ann Halstead Dove on January 11, 1922 in Clarksville, AR. She was a longtime resident of Benton and Member of the Dorcas Class at the Benton First United Methodist Church.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Carrick and six siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Raynelle Hunton (Tom), of The Woodlands, TX; grandsons, Stephen Hunton (Kristine) of Rockwall, TX and Patrick Hunton (Bridgette) of Pleasant Hill, CA, and great grandsons, Adler, Beckett, and Ison Hunton of Rockwall, TX and Levi Hunton of Pleasant Hill, CA. Louise is also survived by her sister, Rose Marie Green of Norwalk, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Rev. Zeke Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Old Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Serving as pallbearers are Steven Hunton, Patrick Hunton, Dr. David Hunton, Wayne Conner, Jeff Lorenzo, and Terry Shell. Honorary pallbearers are John David Dove and Sam Sample.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service (Noon-1:00) at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Benton First United Methodist Church Debt Reduction Fund, 200 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015 or the Old Rosemont Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1676, Benton, AR 72018-1676.
