Sally Knapp Boyd, age 81 of Conway, Arkansas took the final journey from this life on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at Conway Regional Medical Center and Arkansas Hospice. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 14th, 1935 to Floyd Knapp and Juanita (Bryan) Knapp, however she spent most of her young life in the Leslie''''Marshall area.

Sally was a member of the Saint Charles Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her BA degree from the University of Arkansas and a MS degree from UCA in Conway. Prior to her marriage to Don, she owned and operated the Leslie Fabric Center where she designed and produced women's clothing. Sally later worked in the education field at the Arkansas Department of Education and after Don's transfer to Ohio, she then worked and retired from the Ohio Department of Education.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Knapp and Juanita Reeves; sister, Gail Knapp Passmore; and brother, Thomas Rex Knapp.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Donald Boyd of the home; son, Daniel ''Hank'' Boyd and wife Cindy of Leslie; daughter, Karen Cook and husband Roy of Albany, GA; son, Steven Boyd of Hot Springs; two granddaughters, Kaysie Cook (Cliff) Webb of Bronwood, GA and Faith Boyd of Leslie; grandson, Coleman (Justin) Cook of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; great granddaughters, Averie Webb, Josie Webb and Lennon Cook; brother-in-law, Jerry Passmore; sister-in-law, Sandra Knapp; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Sally will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Jolly officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Jess Knapp, Shane Harness, Bryan Gullett, Gary Armes, Eric Singletary and Don Flynn. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Fuller, Aaron Wilson and Jerry Passmore.
