Houston Snyder, age 70, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Mr. Snyder was born November 11, 1946 in Marvell to the late Lewis and Eva Snyder.

He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Smith (David Crisp) of Marvell and Mary Lee (Marshall Clemons) of Stuttgart; two brothers, Syd Snyder (Ruth) of Aubrey and Freddie Paul Snyder of Marvell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lewis Snyder, Jr., Joseph Earl Snyder, Winford Lloyd Snyder and Elmer Gene Snyder; and three sisters, Joyce Louise Snyder, Sylvia Lucille Parker and Nancy Snyder.

A service for Houston Snyder will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Kenneth Harmon will officiate.

Pallbearers are Justin Snyder, Curtis Storey, Coleman Storey, Shelby Snyder, Kotton Guest and Marshall Clemons. Honorary pallbearers are Allen O'Neal, Kipp Bartlett, John Kemmer, James Kemmer, Reed Storey and Kenneth Guest.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
