Our father, Marshall W. Driver, 88, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his home. He was born in Tennessee on October 19, 1928.

Marshall was an alumni of Arkansas State University, Sigma Pi Fraternity and District Manager for Metropolitan Life. He retired at age 65 with 41 years of service. His career included posts in New York, Houston, and Memphis with the last 28 years in Little Rock. Community service included board membership in Arkansas Health Planning Council, Health Systems Foundation and Arkansas Medicaid Committee. Dad was a WWII Navy veteran, serving on the aircraft carrier, USS Midway and as a Lieutenant in the Arkansas National Guard. He was an avid outdoors man. Crappie fishing and duck hunting were his passions. He was a member of First Christian Church in Little Rock, where he served as a deacon and assisted with the food pantry.

He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Beth Ann; his parents, Marshall and Ida Frances, and three brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Marsha Headstream (James) and their children, Katherine Aukerman (Ryan) and Will and his son, Ryland Headstream of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a son, Bruce Driver (Donna Williams) and his daughter, Ashley Wallace (Don) and her mother, Laurie Driver, all of Little Rock; and four nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at First Christian Church, 1500 N Mississippi, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72207. Reverend Charlie Wallace will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
