Jeweldean Treat Blackwell, age 84 of Marshall, Arkansas died Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at Ozark Health Nursing Home in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born in the Loafers Glory community on May 3rd, 1932 to Dock and Bessie (Eaton) Treat.
Jeweldean was baptized at an early age by Bro. Jim Langston. She served as secretary for the Pentecostal Church at Zack, Arkansas. She loved spending time with her family and spent many hours shuttling boats on the Buffalo River, working livestock with her husband and hauling horses and livestock to rodeos. Jeweldean loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed all the funny things they did to entertain her and all the memories they made. She worked side by side with her husband for many years in the dry-cleaning business, where she made many friends.
Jeweldean is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Harold Blackwell of the home; one daughter, Debra (Gary) McDaniel of Marshall; two grandsons, Michael (Nicole) Blackwell and Cody (Ashley) Baysinger; three great grandchildren, Connor and Halen Baysinger and Sophia Blackwell; one brother, Loy Treat of Waynesville, MO; and niece, Lanae (Jerry) Gillispie of Strafford, MO; nephew, David Treat of Bentonville; great nieces, Jerra Gillispie and Julia (Tyler) Thorton; great-great nieces, Scotia and Abbigail; great-great nephews, Brody, Fearson and Jacob; and a bunch of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Bessie Treat; one brother, D.J. Treat; and sisters-in-law, Janice Treat and Geneva Treat.
Funeral services for Jeweldean will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 in the Chapel. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Eaton, Jack Treat, Gary McDaniel, Travis Ragland, Shawn Horton and Russell Horton.
