Elizabeth Maud Szarowicz

of Bryant, AR

December 7, 1921 - October 31, 2016

Elizabeth Maud Szarowicz, 94, a longtime resident of Bryant, AR passed away in her home, surrounded by loved ones during the morning hours of October 31, 2016.
Elizabeth Szarowicz was born on December 7, 1921 to Harley Eugene and Maud Geneva Carrigan.
Elizabeth had a fondness for solving crossword puzzles, quilting, fishing, and her dear pet companions, Prissy and Shorty. These were only rivaled by her love of music, dancing, and a well-known affinity for maintaining her yard and mowing her own grass. With her sparkling sense of humor and a twinkle in her eye, she delighted in recounting her adored memories of life and of all loved ones near and dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Van Taylor and William Szarowicz; two brothers, Harley Carrigan and Conway Carrigan; three sisters: Anna Laura Kirk, Lucille Kirk, and Aileen Taylor; and two of her children, Betty Price and David Taylor.
Elizabeth is survived by a sister, Imogene Suggett; her loving children: Geneva Johnson, James ''Sony'' Taylor Sr., Marilyn Craise, Billy Szarowicz, Vera Webster, and Alice Queen. She is also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 4, 2016 at Pine Grove Cemetery, 2504 E. Dixon Rd, Little Rock, AR 72206.
Pallbearers are Cameron Beckwith, Sony Taylor II, Acee Johnson, Kristy Huffman, Brett Price, Phillip Price, Robert Craise, Mike Lorenson, Michael Johnson, and Aaron Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Saline Memorial Hospice, 23157 I-30 Frontage Rd, Bryant, AR 72022, (501) 315-0136.

She is with her loving family. She probably is fishing with David, her first born that was taken to God so many years ago. She's with her beloved Mama and Papa, sisters and brother, daughter and so many more.

We will miss her, it is, after all, ours to grieve her loss, she is very happy.
