March 8, 1940 - October 16, 2016

James Daniel Ingram, 76, of the Bay area, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at his home. He was born March 8, 1940, at Bassett, to Ira Oscar & Lema Viola (Simpson) Ingram. He had been a truck driver for Timmons Transit. He served in the US Marines, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ira Oscar Ingram, Jr., Hershel Ingram, Edward Ingram, Boyd Ingram, Arlon Ingram, and Baby Ingram.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Ingram; sons, Keith (Lisa) Ingram, Chris (Katy) Ingram, Jonathan Ingram, Eddie Lynn (Evelyn) Baker, and James Lloyd (Pam) Baker, Jr; one daughter, Lisa Emmons; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Larry Ingram, Doyle Ingram, Jerry Ingram and Terry Ingram; and two sisters, Irene Jones and Dianne Book.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 6:00-8:00pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, at 1:00pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
