David Honor Johnson, 91, of Little Rock, died on September 18, 2016. He was born June 9, 1925 to David and Gertrude Northcross Johnson in Moscow, Arkansas. He was formerly employed by Central Arkansas Wastewater and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Little Rock for 60 plus years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Gibson Johnson; and all of his brothers and sisters. David is survived by his sons, Pernard, Paul, Gregory, and Floyd Johnson all of Little Rock and Robert Johnson of Durham, North Carolina; daughters, Juwanna Sturd (Robert) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Patricia Johnson of Bakersfield, California, Joyce Dodson (Richard) of Sacramento, California; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 901 Calhoun Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300.

My prayers to the family. Unk Budo has answered the heavenly rolebook as present an accounted for. Now in heavens class w many other loved ones. Memories are him sitting on his porch right there at the coner of 6th she & him waving to people as they go down 6th street. driving the truck w his special horn ringing it anytime we kids asked until he had to say it ddnt work anymore (lol), that yellow work suit he wore. him & A-Lizbeth coming down to the house on 4th sitting til late. The big bacon biscuits & honey & butter breakfasts at 24thst His roaring laugh & the smile in his eyes. Lots of other family memories that will always be dear to me. Rest on Uncle Budo love ya
