Dwane Oren Morgan of North Little Rock died Sept. 19, 2016. This Christian man lived 79 years.
Born Jan. 13, 1937 to Fred Oren Morgan and Aretha Mildred (Roark) Morgan in Joplin, Mo., he married Sydnia Fleetwood in 1961. Ordained as a deacon Jan. 15, 1967 in Webb City, Mo., Dwane was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sherwood. He was a faithful husband, beloved father, and grandfather.Â
Dwane graduated from Seneca High School (Mo.) and studied business at Pittsburg State University (Kan.). Moving to Arkansas in 1984, he worked as a Dillard's accountant for 25 years and supported the Razorbacks.
Survivors include wife of 53 years, Sydnia; son, Douglas and granddaughter, Katrina. The family thanks Dr. Gregory Bienvenue and Dwane's many caregivers. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation.Â

Syd so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Dwane as a man with a story to tell. All our years at Dillards together there was never a dull moment when he was around. Heaven gained a new story teller. My prayers & thoughts are with you.
