John Henry Burnett, 93, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born August 7, 1923 in Prescott, Arkansas to John Luther Burnett and Bessie Neimeyer Burnett. He was an auto mechanic in his working years and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother William Burnett; wife Annie J. Burnett; and his parents.

He is survived by his brother Jack Burnett; son Ken Burnett (Louise) of Conway; daughter Carolyn Faver (Jim) of Little Rock; three grandsons Steve, Chad, Kenny; and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Pastor Ted Stanton officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I know how hard it is to let them go. You are in our thoughts and prayers. You and Kenny were very lucky to have been able to keep him for so long. Lost my dad when he was only sixty two. Your faith and your family will sustain you.
