I can't even begin to say how much I will miss Uncle Dorne, from all of his funny sayings to his thoughtful gestures and the many things he did for us over the years. He took an interest in everything. He made our wedding cake; he would call me just to say he loved me; and he sent Harold the best homemade beef jerky on earth. I will also be forever thankful to Uncle Dorne and Aunt for their helpfulness, kindness and support of my mother when she had a stroke. I have so may wonderful memories and will think of him always.

I have so many great memories with Papa(Dorne), my great grandfather. He took my cousin and I on vacations, always cooked us amazing meals, and we always had so much fun with him and Nena. He always made sure we were doing well in school and always called my cousin, my little sister, and I his "three little girls". I'll never forget the song he always used to sing to me, "K-K-K-Katy". He will be greatly missed but always remembered.

Mr Kennedy I've known you since I'm a little girl and can remember the days as a kid enjoying visiting your home in Tampa and swimming in the pool, we always had the best times. Remembering visiting my sister in law Carol and you always cooking us the best steaks ever.... Will always remember the nickname you gave me, you would always say hey skinny kid... Rest in peace Papa, Your daughter Carol I'm sure is smiling right about now.
You will be missed...

I have fond memories of my uncle, Dorne Kennedy, and his wife June. Though he moved away when I was very young and we have always lived far apart, he and my mother (his sister, Beryl), shared a warm relationship, and during the few times I've been able to spend with him over the years, I've felt that warmth too. Dorne was a loving family man, and I offer my condolences to his loved ones. We will all miss him.
