Forrest Edwin Wray, age 68, of Harrison, died Saturday, August 20, 2016, at his home. He was born April 16, 1948, in Caldwell, Idaho, the son of Raymond and Burnell (Cole) Wray, who preceded him in death.
Edwin attended First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a pipeline inspector and welder, a concrete specialist and finisher, and a general contracting superintendent. He was also an Arkansas National Guard veteran.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Cathy Mallet Wray, of the home; his son, Cody Wray; two daughters, Sarah Smith and Christine Waters; two granddaughters, Jada Dawn Wray and Lakin Waters; two brothers, Don Wray and wife Patricia and Kenny Wray and wife Ann, all of Harrison; two nieces, Shelley Keeter of Bentonville, Arkansas and Whitney Payne of Springdale, Arkansas; three nephews, Josh Wray, Donald Wray, and Chris Wray; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and other family and friends.
Visitation was Friday, August 26, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside service was Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Hill Top Cemetery, with Charles Mallett officiating.
Pallbearers were Mike Mallett, Chris Shaver, Shane Jones, and Edwin's nephews, Josh Wray, Donald Wray, and Chris Wray.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Wray, Kenny Wray, Donnie Williams, Neal Gibson, Bill Wray and Hospice of the Hills Hospice House staff and Tammy.

I have fond memories growing up next to the Wray family on College St in the 1960's. Edwin had a Blue 55 Chevy, coolest car in town.
