Flynn Rodgers ReveleyI am a Veteran.

July 31, 1948 - August 20, 2016

Flynn Rodgers Reveley, went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2016. Flynn was born on July 31, 1948 to Euguene and Clarice Reveley. He is survived by his wife; Margaret, his son; Ryan, daughter-in-law; Allie, and three grandsons; Caedmon, Shepherd and Rex. He is also survived by his sister; Joyce Oliver, nephew; Mike Oliver, niece; Tricia Oliver, and numerous cousins.

Flynn worked for many years as a paper salesman for Little Rock Paper Company, Roach Paper Company, and Unisource from which he retired in 2012. He loved his job because he loved being around people. He never met a stranger because he would go out of his way to make anyone feel welcome. He made many special friends in his life who have stood by his side through his life journey. He loved spending time in the woods hunting for the next big buck. He loved the game of baseball and has passed that love on to his son and grandsons. He made many friends along the way and affected many lives because he would always think of everyone else first. He loved his wife, Margaret deeply and always stayed by her side.

Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock (501)791-7400. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 pm at Cabot United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Sixteenth Section Cemetery near Cabot. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cabot Parks and Recreation Department for the Cabot Sports Complex.

My prayers go out to the family. Flynn was one of a kind. He would always bring a smile to us when he came to call on us during his business trips to Harrison. I always thought of Flynn as a close friend. He will truly be missed.

Flynn made me feel at home in Arkansas when I moved from Rockford to attend Lyon College. I felt like part of the Reveley family & have been for 20 years. I'm so glad he got to meet my beautiful bride. Flynn would come watch me coach at UCA & play pro baseball. After baseball we loved getting together when Ryan moved to Mass. To watch baseball games & play golf. We will miss Flynn very much.

Prayers for Flynn's family and friends. From the comments I have read, he will be greatly missed by all who ever had a chance to meet him. I remember him for high school and recently ran into him at a visitation for a family member. We had a chance to chat for a few minutes and reminisce about high school. I was looking forward to seeing him again in September. RIP Flynn.

Margaret--I am sadden by Flynn's passing. I have such great memories of softball and golf which were always enriched with his storytelling and sense of humor. I will enjoy reliving some his tales with my friends. Again, my sincere regrets.

I've only met Flynn a few times but as Ryan's sister-in-law I've heard much about him over the years. I know he raised and loved a wonderful son. I know he was a loving Pa to three amazing boys. I know he loved baseball and always wanted the best for his family. His memory and so much more will live on in his son and grandsons. I'm honored to be part of Ryan's extended family and hope that our love and support during this difficult time is a comfort. We are so sorry for your loss.

Working with Flynn for so many years brought me so many wonderful memories. He was there for me through good times and bad. Truly a gentle soul. He was like a big brother and my heart is broken. He has left a void but I know he's at peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his many friends.

I wish you a good journey my friend in your next life. May you hunt the fields of quail we missed, reclaim the pheasants we missed, and hunt the holes, that the ducks come in all day long. Really enjoyed our times together during your earthly ride. Ps buddy, no photo bombing up there, you know what I'm talking about. Love ya bro, me and Cummings will miss ya in the duck blind. Save some for us. ❤️

Flynn has been a part of our family for as long as we've been a family. He has been a brother to me. Hunting, golf, baseball, softball and Braves Cardinals games. We have done it all together. Now he is on the streets of gold and we will see him again one day. Thanks for the great times together. We pray for Margaret Ryan and all of the family. Sam and Dianne

Dear Reveley family,
I only met Flynn once when he traveled to MA to visit his son, grandsons, and daughter in law. He seemed to be a great father and a loving grandfather. I know his son very well and he is a terrific human being, amazing father and loving husband. Ryan, you must have been raised by a pretty remarkable father! I'm so sorry for your loss. May the comfort of God the father be with you and your family now. 2 Cor. 1:3-5
