Pat was my first sister-in- law to meet. She had just married Roy in Charleston, SC in 1964 and I married Roys brother Gene a few months later. She was friendly , sweet ,funny. and a great cook. We all ended up in Arkansas and had a few babies between us. We had some great family get togethers thru the years. Pat liked a good party and dancing to old country music. We babysat each other's kids and cooked meals for each other's families. We even tried dyeing each other's hair once. Mine turned orange and hers tuned white. We all moved to Texas when the economy forced us out of Arkansas and eventually Pat and Roy went back to Arkansas and ended up in Evening Shade. The last time I saw her we reminisced about the old days and shared stories and a drink or two. She told me how much she loved Roy and what a good life she had. Rest in Peace Pat. Love, your sister-in-law, Johnie Roberts
