Ola Charlene Baugus, 85 of Mobile, AL, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016. Mrs. Baugus was born May 23, 1931 in the Rosetta Community to Mr. James Oscar and Pearl Vosie (Moore) Garland. She was a member of the Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. She previously lived in Salus, AR., for over 25 years. She was a retired care giver. Ms. Baugus is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Garland and Jo Garland; one sister, Sydney Singleton; and one son, Roger Baugus.

Ms. Baugus is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Darrell) Johnson of Knoxville, AR; four sons, Clifton (Saundra) Baugus of Mobile, AL, James Baugus of Kingsville, TX, John (Ruby( Baugus of Henderson, TX, and Marshall (Andrea) Baugus of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Janice (Seth) Schubarth, Jeffery (Lauren) Baugus, Krystal (Johnathon) Medford, Debra Baugus, Johnathon Baugus, Brandon Vaughn, Cecilia (Joseph) Barr, Michael (Heather) Vaughn, Tamara Baugus, Julie Baugus, Emily Baugus, Amber Baugus, Bonnie McGuire, Erica Wages, Cody Johnson, and Travis McGuire; brother in law, Elvis Singleton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August4, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Charles Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosetta cemetery with, Janice Schubarth, Debra Baugus, Krystal Medford, Amber Baugus, Cecilia Barr, Tamara Baugus, Julie Baugus, and Bonnie McGuire serving as pallbearers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all in your Moms passing. She was my 2nd mom who I always loved as my own. I always told my real mom how much I loved and she was always okay with that. She new how much i thought of her and how much of an influence she had on me when we were growing up. She also could give a good whooping when she needed to. She was a carring person who always help somebody if she could even if they were adopted so to say. I am truly blessed to have know her and will always that that special place in my heart next to her son. heaven is a better place these days. God bless you mom. I love you. I will see you and Roger someday. Keep a place for me. I Love you. PW
