Dad,
We are going to miss you dearly but we know you were tired of fighting the fight and just wanted to go home to be with God and Mom. I am so thankful to have had a wonderful father like you who was a great role model and loving parent. You are and will be deeply missed but at least I still have great memories of my childhood to look back on and even though my heart is breaking I am comforted in the fact that one day I too will be reunited with both you and mom. Rest in peace.
It was a privilege for me to have spent the last Christmas with grandpa, such a charmer with a free spirit...he kept me entertained with war stories..will miss you grandpa but you are at peace with the Lord. May your soul rest in God's love. It is well.

Love you all!
Bill, Jan and Jean--
I grieve with you in the loss of your dad, whom I was honored to call "Dad" also. It was my privilege to have known him, enjoyed him and prayed for him. I will miss our visits.
May God bless you and your families as you adjust in this time of transition.
