Dick spent his working career in the retail shoe business operating Hendrix Shoes on Cherry Street in downtown Helena. He loved Phillips County, AR and all her people. Mr. Hendrix was one of the sweetest people I have ever known . His smile was almost contagious. No matter what I had on my mind when I would see him, his smile would make me forget any problem and make me smile too. Heaven has definitely gained an angel. I pray God will wrap his arms around your family and give you peace.
