Jane Johnston, 55, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Johnston was born March 1, 1961 at Wichita, Kansas to the late James Arthur and Vera Virginia Gray Woodring. She worked in the public for 20 years.
Jane is survived by her husband Phillip Johnston of Lexa; two daughters, Molly Faith Johnston of Lexa and Phillis Nunemaker (Jake) of Newark, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Jenae Nunemaker; one great-grandson Eli; two sisters, Genni Buie (Rickey) of Marvell, Arkansas and Sharon Boddie of Barton, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Groves.
Funeral services for Jane Johnston will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. '''' 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Joe Loncur will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
Mrs. Johnston was such a dear person. She will be missed by all. I had the privilege and honor of caring for her. My deepest sympathies to you, Mr. Johnson and the rest of the family. Tina

Phillip, I am sorry to hear that Janie passed, I know she is at peace now and doesn't hurt anymore. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Janie was one of the sweetest people I have ever known.
Phillip and Molly , Im so sorry to hear about the lost of Jane. She was with me though my young years and she never judged me and trwated me with all her loving and kindness. God has recieved a amazing angel. I hope Jane is dancing in heaven.I love and will miss her.
