Girls, my schedule prevents me from attending the visitation or service, but wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I would love to have gotten to see each of you. You are all so special to your dad. He was a wonderful father and I know you will miss him dearly.

Girls, I worked with both of your parents at the Conway post office. It was obvious that they loved and respected each other. This generation could learn from couples like your parents.

Sarah I remember the day I met your Dad at Kroger on Salem Road. You had just got that fancy red car and he was riding shotgun with you. You could see how proud he was of you and you him. I always have that picture of the two of you in my mind whenever you talk about him. He was an awesome Dad to all I am sure. So sorry for all of your loss as it is always so hard to turn loose of those we love so much. Just remember he is always with you and will be watching only now he will be with your other loved ones that have gone on before him. Prayers to your family for comfort and a little relief from the pain you feel. Sending my love and care to all!!!

The Hackler family was such good friends to Wendell and me. We enjoyed all our trail rides and especially the trip to Canton Texas. So sorry that I didn't stop by to see John after he got sick, but I thought of him often. I will not be able to attend service. I am out of town.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of John, he was a very good man and a close friend of our family for many, many years. John was one of my dads' favorite coon hunting buddies, and I have fond memories of going hunting with them from time to time. John will be missed by his family and friends, but our memories of him will last forever. My deepest sympathy to all that knew and loved him, God bless him and may he rest in peace.
