Joyce Sparks, 99, of Caraway, passed away Friday, July 01, 2016 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born February 10, 1917 in Williford to John Hampton and Leona Wood Sitz.

Mrs. Sparks was retired from Basler Electric Company. She was a member of Community of Christ in Caraway for 90 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, B.A. ''Sparky'' Sparks; two sisters, Gladys Carmack and Bernice Harris; and one brother, Burl Sitz.

Survivors include one son, Wayne (Brenda) Pickett of Ravenden; two granddaughters, Leona (Pickett) and Kelly Young of Windom, Texas; Leslie (Pickett) and Michael Bradley of Ravenden; seven great grandchildren, Josh (Leah) Young, Amber (Gary) Cremeans, Jessica Young, Wesley Young, Heather Bradley, Bailey Bradley and Jacob Bradley and six great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel at 10:00am with Elder Wayne Heidelberg and Elder Gary Earnhart officiating. Pallbearers include Josh Young, Wes Young, Kelly Young, Gary Cremeans, Michael Bradley and Chris Jennings. Honorary bearers are Lynn Hagg, Henry Finch and Harvey Faulkner. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, July 2, at the funeral home from 5:30pm '''' 7:00pm.
