Connie Mae Anderson, age 98, of Memphis, TN, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Memphis at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Dalton and Agie White.
She was born in Toccopola, (Pontotoc County) Mississippi. She was the wife of Jake (J.C.) Anderson who preceded her in death November 17, 1998. They were married 61 years.
Connie Anderson was very dedicated to her family that grew to 4 generations for her to love. Until her health began to fail a few years ago, she loved her vegetable garden, sewing and cooking, plus her little dog, Muffin. She enjoyed having friends and family visit. Her favorite music was gospel groups and quartets.
In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Delton, Wade, and Vernon White, and a great-granddaughter, Andrea Neely.
Survivors include a sister, Melna Faye Taylor and nephew James of Ashland, MS; a son, Quinnon (Dixie) Anderson of Memphis, TN; a daughter, Ann (Jerry) Foreman of Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren, Teresa (David) Neely, of Corodva, TN, Chris (Ildiko) Foreman of Warrenton, VA, and Marc (Natasha) Foreman of Reeds Springs, MO; a great granddaughter, Brittney Cross of Cordova, TN; two great-grandsons, Paul Foreman of Reed Springs, MO and C.J. Foreman of Warrenton, VA; and three great-great-grandchildren, Landon and Jonathan Neely plus Ryleigh Cross all of Cordova.

I just found out about Aunt Mae tonight. I was thinking about her and found this out. Praying for the family ,peace and comfort. Mama loved Aunt Mae. I wished I kept in touch better. She is with Mama and Aunt Wilma and the rest now. My sister Kelly just passed too,June 22,2016. What a reunion they are having. :)
