Glenna, I am not sure if I met you before or not. That does not matter. I just want to thank you for bringing and raised Betty Abrams. You did do very well to a point when Betty gave birth to a deaf child, Betty did not give up, pity or toss her two deaf children aside. What Betty did was to move the worlds to ensure that her children will succeed on anything they wanted to be. She learned ASL, she pushed to make sure that her kids has access to ASL, education, athletics, activities - she challenged her two Deaf children to make their names known. Betty & Bob brought Christie & Stacy into the world - I loved them as much as I wanna strangle them sometimes but when I see them, I see their mother Betty in them. When I see Betty, I see her mother Glenna in her. So Glenna, thank you and rest well, you earned it all and say hello to my Mom and Dad.

Cheers,

R-

On behalf of my Mother, Freda Smith, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I know my Mom was so worried about her health when she was able to come to the Beauty Shop. Who knew at that time that Mom would go before Glenna. I hope they are having a joyous homecoming in Heaven. You are in my thoughts and prayers, I know how much it hurts.
