Walter Keith Davis, 58, of Batesville, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at his residence.
Born January 22, 1958, in Batesville, he was the son of Rex A. Davis and Mary Gray Davis.
Walter was a member of the Mountain View Graduating Class of 1976. He farmed his whole life and, in his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, making new acquaintances, and was interested in everything. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Davis of Batesville; a son, Timothy Rainey and his wife, Melissa, of Monmouth, Illinois; a daughter, Nicole Bledsoe and her husband, Kevin, of Mena; four grandchildren, Beau and Lexi Bledsoe, and Mackenzie and Madilyn Brown; two brothers, Wayne Davis of Mountain View and Howard Davis of Pleasant Grove; a sister, Marilyn Younger of St. James; and nieces, Haley Davis and Mandy Younger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Wilbanks officiating.
Pallbearers will be Marty Melton, Nickey Melton, Marcus Bowers, Steven Mitchell, Eric Mitchell and Norman Hall. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Pleasant Grove Water Association.
Burial will be in York Cemetery at Marcella under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016.

Where do I start.....Walter was such a sweetheart....he was kind, funny, smart & always had that beautiful smile for everyone. I always looked forward to seeing him when he brought his mom to the office.....he was so good with her. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
