Betty Ballew, 83, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home. She was born September 25, 1932 in Corning, AR to the late James and Annabell (Ford) Russell. Betty worked at the Coffee Cup Café as a cook. She was of the Pentecostal belief. She loved cooking, playing with her dog, and having yard sales.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Michael and David Prine.

Survivors include a son, Freddie Prine of Bono; daughters, Donna Taylor, Linda Hilderbran, Kathy Prine, Patricia Thomas, Mary Jones, and Charlotte Raines; 23 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Old Enterprise Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm until time of service.

Donnie Raines, Chris Pittman, Ernie Wilkey, Cole Foley, Daniel Hilderbran and Charles Thomas will serve as active pallbearers. Bryan Pittman, Johnathan Foley, Lupe Russell, Blake Foley and John Prine will serve as honorary pallbearers.

It seems, like only yesterday that she was working at the Koffee Cup and we would stop and have a soda,of course that's been many years ago.My prayers are with the family and I pray God will give you peace.
