Harold W. Clay, 69, of Forrest City, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born Sunday, August 18, 1946 in Turrell, Arkansas; to Morris Griffin Clay and Annie Mae Clay.

Mr. Clay is survived by his wife, Shirley Hill Clay, of the home; two sons, Elvis Boothe (Angelique) of Palestine, Arkansas; Jason Clay (Susan), of Monterey, Louisiana; two daughters, Ann Boothe (Scott) of Byhalia, Mississippi; Jennifer Clay Smith (Dale) of Jena, Louisiana; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his mother, Annie Mae Clay of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Fay Cassidy, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three nieces, one great niece and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Griffin Clay.

Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and visiting with friends. He worked for M&T paving up until his death.

Services for Mr. Clay will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. also at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forrest Park in Forrest City, Arkansas. My condolences to the family. Losing a loved one is so difficult. I hope that comfort can be found in the Bible and in prayer to God. How we all look forward to the hope found at Acts 24:15, " there is going to be a resurrection ".
