Bonnie J. Riggs, age 70, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home.
Bonnie was born to the late Orville and Ruthie (Harrington) Franks in Gassville, Arkansas on May 18, 1946. She had lived in the area all of her life. She was a retired cook for Tow Boat Company and a member of Rea Valley Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Calhoon and her husband, Paul, of Orange, Texas;
one brother Jim Franks and his wife, Lisa, of Flippin, Arkansas;
two sisters: Patsy Anderson; and Frances Kelley and her husband, Danny, all of Flippin, Arkansas;
five grandchildren;
ten great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
and her son, Phillip Nesbitt
Funeral service for Mrs. Riggs will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Rea Valley Baptist Church near Flippin, Arkansas with Bro. Jack Gilliland officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time.
Interment will follow the service at Hand Valley Cemetery near Flippin, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Randy Mathis, Bill Joans, Craig Smith, Stephen Joans, Chris Joans, Jeffery Calhoon, and Calvin Calhoon.
