Alma Marie Martin, 91 of Onia, Arkansas passed away May 16, 2016 in Mountain View, Arkansas. Alma was born May 10, 1925 in Searcy County to William Joe and Hannah (Rose) House. Alma was a farmer; she lived on the same farm for over eighty years, a shirt factory worker, a homemaker, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Alma is survived by two sons, Gary Martin and wife Glenda of Mountain View, Arkansas, Randy Martin of Onia, Arkansas; one daughter, Belma Treat and husband Dennis of Big Flat, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Donna McClanahan, Brian Martin, Sybil Martin, Luke Treat, Mark Treat, twelve great-grandchildren, twenty four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
Alma is preceded in death by her parents, William and Hannah House; husband, Ellis Martin; son, Travis Martin; daughter-in-law, Denita Martin; brothers, Hanserd House, Newton House; sisters, Donia Selvidge, Nellie Collard; great-grandson, Adam Treat; and granddaughter-in-law, Candy Martin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View. Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Roller Coffman Chapel with Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment will be at Farris Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Brian Martin, Bruce McClanahan, Mark Treat, Luke Treat, Chris Corter, and Dennis Treat.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
