Marjorie Carolyn Billups, age 76, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri.

Marjorie was born October 20, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Gordon Simpson and Irene Elizabeth (Kincade) Kupka. She was an owner/operator of a restaurant. She had lived in the area for the past 30 years, coming here from Kansas City, Kansas.

Mrs. Billups is survived by two sons: Steve Hoover and his wife, Rhonda; and Duane Hoover; all of Yellville, Arkansas; two daughters: Debbie Davenport and her husband, Larry, of Yellville; and Brenda Ross of Pembroke Pines. Florida; six grandchildren: Jason Davenport; Matt Davenport; Kyle Davenport; Cody Wagoner; Maggie Hoover; and Chris Ross; three great-grandchildren: Peyton Davenport; Jacey Davenport; and Claire Davenport; and her dearest friends: Joyce Still, M.J. Rushing, and Judy Ryder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Clifford Kupka.

A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Billups at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas with Rev. Donna Hoover officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Jason Davenport, Matt Davenport, Kyle Davenport, Cody Wagoner, Maggie Hoover, and Christ Ross.
