Frankie Marie Barber, 69 of Lamar, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Little Rock. Mrs. Barber was born December 30, 1946 in Clarksville to Mr. Zearl and Thursetta (Cooper) Freeman. She enjoyed reading, doing yard work, singing, and being outdoors. Mrs. Barber is preceded in death by her father, Zearl, and her husband, Clarence "Satch" Barber.
 
Mrs. Barber is survived by her mother, Thursetta Freeman; one daughter, Sherri and Terry Dodson of Lamar; one son, Anthony and Cathy Barber of Tualatin, OR.; two sisters, Virginia Hampton of Clarksville, and Carlene Mason of Lamar; two brothers, Dale and Linda Freeman, and Ricky Freeman all of Lamar; five grandchildren, Randy Dodson, Jason Dodson, Christopher Barber, Timothy Barber, and Ashley Barber; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Tyler, and Micah Dodson, Grace and Daniel Barber, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 
Visitation for Mrs. Barber will be 2:00 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Annie's Chapel Cemetery.

Frankie and I worked in the lab at Tyson for many years. Shared several thousand pots of coffee and meals together! She loved her family dearly. Frankie was a very soft hearted lady. My prayers for comfort.
