Vivian J. Godwin, age 90, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at North Little Rock. Mrs. Godwin was born December 20, 1925 at Atkins, Arkansas to the late Jim and Anna Spurgeon. She was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Taylor (Julia) and Terry Taylor (Nena), all of Lonoke; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Billy Harold Sorrells (Betty) of Russellville and W.L. Sorrells (Lee) of Atkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie A. Taylor; husband, Harbert Godwin; and daughter, Jessie Taylor Weems.
A graveside service for Vivian Godwin will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Doctor J.E. Hughes will officiate.
