Charles Rayford Duggan, age 66, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at his home. He was born August 8, 1949, in Isabella, Missouri, the son of Louis and Janey (Shockey) Duggan. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Duggan and Jay Duggan; and his sisters, Lee Ellen Ridinger and Vada White.

Charles was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Omaha, Arkansas. He loved his family, the outdoors, and fishing. He also loved his church family, grilling, and his dogs, Skoshie and Bobo. He was a loader operator at Royal Oak Charcoal Plant and a cook at Skaggs Hospital. Charles was a 25 year veteran as a volunteer firefighter and first responder for the city of Omaha.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Cathy L. (Wells) Duggan; his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Erin Duggan, of Omaha; his daughter, Malinda C. Duggan, of Omaha; two grandchildren, Brock and Alexa Duggan; his brothers, Robert Duggan of Protem, Missouri and Floyd Duggan of Omaha; his sister, Delia Lind, of Springfield, Missouri; and a host of friends.

Visitation was Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Monday, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Omaha, Arkansas, with Bro. Johnny Atchison officiating.

Interment was in Summers Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charlie Duggan, Brock Duggan, Malinda Duggan, Jared Davis, Travis Hall, Nathan Atchison, Tim Green and Wendall Edwards.

Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Adams, Roger Husser, and Doug Kleeberger.
