A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a sharing, caring person inside. Samantha Rhea Williams Nichols' (you probably knew her as Sam) light began to shine September 16, 1968. Samantha's spirit is carried on in her daughter, Abby Nichols. At age 47, Sam, of Omaha, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday February 25, 2016, in Branson, Missour. Sam was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, W. A. and Georgia Adcock; and paternal grandparents, Dr. W. J. B. and Dutchy Williams; a nephew, Drew Toler; her uncles, Larry Adcock and Bill Williams; and her cousin, Toni Williams and Brian Conrade.
Sam lived every day to the fullest and walked through the world with her big blue eyes and a contagious smile. She was an Arkansas native who loved nothing more than to spend time with family, friends and her fur babies, Bo and Marlie. Sam was raised in Cabot and graduated from Cabot High School in 1986. She received an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1988.
Sam is survived by her husband, Don Nichols; her daughter, Abby Nichols, of Omaha; her parents, Jim and Mary Williams, of Cabot; her brother, Casey (Rachel) Williams, of Cabot; her nephews, Luke Williams of Hawaii and Cash Williams of Cabot; her nieces, Meghan Toler and Ava Rose Williams, of Cabot; her aunts, Caroline David of Cabot and Rosemary Williams of Maumelle; her uncle, Jerry (Sue) Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and countless other beloved family and friends.
Memorial service was Sunday February 28, 2016, at Omaha Baptist Church in Omaha, Arkansas and Monday February 29, 2016 at New Life Church in Cabot, Arkansas with Bro. Gene France officiating.
I met Sam in the fifth grade and instantly knew we would be close friends. We had sleepovers with our friends, birthday parties, and I can still hear her laughter In my mind. She was fiercely loyal and protective of those she loved. She had the most beautiful blue eyes you ever saw. She would sit quietly with you and hug you when their were broken hearts. And she would become very vocal to the ones who broke your heart. It didn't matter how much t in me had passed, when you saw her there was a huge smile, a contagious laugh, and a lot of love. To her Parents Ms. Mary and Mr Jim, thank you for the weekends at your home and the love you poured into Sam, that she poured into others. You raised a wonderful girl, a friend who I will miss until I see her again. God bless you all, Tonya Gutridge Dochstader
