Cleadith Oneda Wasson, age 88, of Harrison, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 25, 2016, in Harrison. She was born May 14, 1927, in Osage, Arkansas, the daughter of Ottie and Lavona (Sims) Frederick. Cleadith was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Henry Wasson.
Cleadith was an Arkansas native. In her earlier years she worked for the Levi Company as a presser. She was a member of Gaither Baptist Church for over 74 years, having joined in September, 1941. Her later years were spent at Harrison Retirement Center where she had many friends and was well liked by the staff.
Cleadith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Donna Wasson, of Harrison; her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Joe Jones, of Harrison; her sister, Wyvonne Sarratt, of Harrison; three grandchildren, Kelly Jones, Shane (Paula) Jones, and Jamie (Dustin) Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Faith Jones and Jacob Jones.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Roller-Christeson in Harrison with Bro. Tim Cooper and Bro. James Bryant officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers were Kelly Jones, Shane Jones, Dustin Jones, Anthony Gonzales, John Heuer and Kirk Waters.
Honorary pallbearers were Legacy Hospice staff, Joe Jones, George Parker, Bill Heuer and Highlands of Harrison at Orendorff.
Burial was in White Church Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice or Gaither Baptist Church.

So sorry for your loss. Oneda was a great lady and I will have many memories of her when I was involved with EHC.
We are so sorry for your loss. David and I loved visiting with Mrs. Oneda at church. She was a special lady and will be missed.
