I am saddened to hear of Ruby's passing on to a better place. I had been wondering about her the last couple years when no response to cards were sent. I'm sorry we lost touch with each other.
Harrison was our summer vacations for years. It felt like home--always a relaxing time and being welcomed.
Blessings to your family--Arline
I am just beside myself in discovering Ruby's passing only today; exactly one month from the date posted.
She (and all of you really) has/have been on my mind for some time now. I have so many fond memories of visiting Everett and Ruby especially when Lloyd and Pete were there. My first ever airplane ride was to "The Loopers". Ruby would have me in stitches when she'd tell stories, the outdoor weddings were always beautiful, "fishing" in the creek behind the house was always a "cool" thing, oh and the Peach Nehi. Best of all-Ruby's cooking was ALWAYS delicious and filling.
Janis, Margaret, Juanita and JR, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know she will be dearly missed.
Finally I leave you with this from today's Guideposts OurPrayer Daily Reflection: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds. James 1:2

I'll Be Waiting for You
Although your heart may be broken,
There's no need to weep for me.
I'm in a wonderful place now,
Where I'm happy and so carefree.
I had to go, but I've left behind
Good memories to comfort you.
Concentrate on the best times we had,
And try not to feel so blue.
For one day we'll be together again,
To laugh and sing and play.
You'll be so glad to see me again,
It will seem I was gone just one day.
So try to lift up your heads now,
And dare to set grief aside,
Because I'll be waiting here for you,
To welcome you to the other side.
I'm so sorry for your loss Margaret and family . May God comfort you in this time of sorrow .

My condolence to the Looper family. To no longer have someone you love around is heart breaking. However Jehovah God brings us comfort because he cares. May the family go to him in prayer in this time of sorrow. 2 Corinthians 1: 2-4
