December 25, 1936 - February 3, 2016

Wilburn B. Risley, age 79, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at his home. He was born December 25, 1936 in Isabella, Missouri.

Bill lived several years in Arkansas before settling in Olathe, Kansas where he owned and operated the Olathe Hearing Aid business. He was a member of the Kansas State Hearing Aid Association and International Hearing Aid Society.

Bill retired in 2003 and moved to Flippin, Arkansas. He was an avid race car fan and owner of his own race car #R-65. He drove on many local tracks in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fenton Risley;
his mother, Edna Minton;
son William T. Risley;
brothers: Kelly Risley, and Kenneth Risley;
also a sister, Janice Clark.

His survivors are wife Jean, of the home;
daughters: Vicky Risley of Kansas City, Missouri;
April and Tim Rice of Springfield, Missouri;
and son Billy Joe Risley of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Other survivors are a sister, Joy and Henry Koehler of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and granddaughters: Jessica and Jody;
and three great-grandchildren
as well as many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind his faithful little dog and buddy Ty Tu.

Visitation for Mr. Risley will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1:00 2:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Richard Shinkle officiating.

Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery
