I will miss my grandad very much. I am grateful for the time I had with him, for all the summers I got to spend in Arkansas and California with him. His greatest talent and gift was making everyone feel equal - he had no favorites, yet everyone he knew felt like he was especially fond of them. Kind, fair and generous. His sharp memory and wealth of stories about his life, family and friends are priceless and precious. Until we meet again Grandaddy, I love you.

There is no way to explain what this man meant to me. He was more than an uncle. I have come to know what a truly good, kind, and honest man he was. He has brought so much joy to so many lives. He told endless stories about my Dad and growing up together; stories only he could tell. I will forever cherish the time I spent with him these past 10 months. To Uncle Jim, a stranger was only a friend he hadn't yet met. I know today he and my Dad are enjoying the greatest family reunion ever!

Always have good memories of Jim (Ardath) first from over at Snowball, then later around Marshall. He was such a good friendly person, I loved seeing him and chatting with him. Of course my mother and Clatie were great friends.
