Dear Anna Mae and family,
So sorry for Steve's passing. You know the Cooke's were my family too and I have many great memories of them. I will miss him, as I do Brenda. Steve was a sweet and generous person and will be sorely missed as a friend to many. We know he is in a better place now, making more friends and seeing old ones.
God be with you and comfort you at this time, and always. You are in my prayers.
Love, Butch

At times like this, I find myself at a loss for words. I was a grade or two behind Steve at Barton School for many years. I got word from a fellow classmate of mine just now. Anna Mae, I didn't ever get to meet you, but my heart goes out to you, family and friends. Steve was always a great guy in school. The picture in the obituary shows the same smile he exhibited many years ago.
Steve left us with many good memories. Prayers for you, your children and grands.
