Sybil Imo Webb, 96, went to her heavenly home on January 14, 2016 after having a heart attack while watching a Razorback basketball game. She was a resident of West Shores Retirement Center in Hot Springs. She lived over fifty years in Marianna and five years in Stuttgart. She was born August 16, 1919 in Atkins, Arkansas, daughter of James Bartley and Mary Ethel Tucker. Her family moved to Marianna when she was in 10TH grade. She completed an Associates Degree in Elementary Education at Arkansas Tech at Russellville. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Doyel Edward Webb, Jr., better known as ''Bubba,'' she taught in a one-room school in LaGrange, Arkansas for several years. While her husband of sixty years was in the U.S. Army, they lived in Durham, North Carolina and Santa Anna, California. After returning to Marianna she became a wonderful mother and homemaker for her children. Imo was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marianna, where she served on Parsonage Committee and was a faithful member of choir and Pairs and Spares Sunday school class for over forty years. She and her husband were partners in Mixon and Webb John Deere business for many years. Affectionately known by her grandchildren as ''MeMo,'' she will always be loved and remembered as the best grandmother anyone could ever have!! She was preceded in death by her husband , her parents, two sisters, Burnell Parker of West Memphis, Helen Young of Marion, a daughter-in-law, Martha Webb and a grandson, Clint Webb of Marianna. Her claim to fame was first cousin, Kay Eakin, Jr. who played football for Arkansas Razorbacks and New York Giants. He was inducted into the Arkansas Hall of Fame. She is survived by daughter, Suzanne Pattillo (Don) of Hot Springs, and son Jerry Webb of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Natalie Cook (Kris) of Jacksonville, Fl, Kyle Pattillo (Misti) of Fayetteville and Courtney Bracy (Anthony) of Jonesboro. Great-grandchildren are Emory and Cameron Cook, Hudson and Davis Pattillo and Webb and Maggie Ann Bracy. She was an avid Razorback fan and loved watching the Manning brothers play football.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., First United Methodist Church in Marianna. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Marianna Memorial Park.

Jerry, Suzanne and family I'm so sorry to hear about your mothers passing. She was a gentle loving lady. Imo was so much fun to be around. She was like a second mother to all of us when we were growing up.
So sorry for your loss. Imo was a class act and will be missed.
