Helen Clarese Powell, 79, of Plummerville, Arkansas, long-time resident of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at her daughter's home. Helen was born on April 23, 1936 in Colt, Arkansas to the late John Robert and Hassie Pearl (Austin) Campbell. Helen accepted Jesus Christ as her saviour in 1976 and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Helen worked in the hospitality industry at different restaurants and hospitals for many years. Helen will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Jyvonne (Powell) Miller and her husband Hank; as well as three grandchildren, Amy (Rose) Brooks and husband Lee, Casey Rose and wife Krystle, and Matthew Miller; four great-grandchildren, Caleb and Colten Brooks and Keyton and Kyliegh Rose, along with many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert and Hassie Pearl (Austin) Campbell; husband, Herbert ''Don'' Powell; daughter, Joyce Angela Powell, and one brother, Harvy Parnell Campbell.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. A graveside service will follow the visitation beginning at 12:30PM at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Timbo, Arkansas with Brother Daryl Pitts officiating.
Pallbearers are Hank Miller, Matt Miller, Casey Rose, Lee Brooks, Danny Powell, and Coy Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Clarence Powell and Dr. Ron Simpson.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Helen was such a sweet lady and will be missed by all. I pray that God wraps his loving, comforting arms around all of you.
So So Sorry to hear about Aunt Helen.....She was a very Special Beautiful Lady I loved very much Very happy my sister Joan & I got to visit her in Oct... I'll always treasure her last letter. She could get so much info & love into a very small space.....Love & miss her
