Billie Lou, you and your family will be in my prayers. Jackie was a nice man and I can imagine how much you will miss your life partner of so many years. Take care of yourself. I hope I will see you sometime when I come to see Daddy and visit at church.

I played baseball with Jackie for years as a teenager in Conway. Jackie was always a great competitor but most of all a real gentlemen. I have thought of Jackie many times over the last 60 years. Jackie, may you rest in peace in the arms of God.

Jackie coached me in baseball 40 years ago and even though I wasnt worth a flip he always treated me like I was an ALL STAR. To this day I've never met a finer man. Heaven gained a dandy.

Our sympathy goes out to the family at this time. I grew up spending a great deal of time at the Lawerence home. He was always taking LeaAnn and me to some type of baseball or football game. My dad called him "Stomper." Our prayers are with Billie Lou, LeaAnn, Brooks, and Misty.
