Steven W. Ponchard, 69, of Conway went to be with the Lord in his Heavenly home, Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was born October 4, 1946 in Fort Knox Kentucky to the late William C. and Marcille Gunter Ponchard.
Steve was a Christian man and a self-employed carpenter. He loved fishing and was very talented at many things and enjoyed working with his hands. Steve was loved very much by his family and a well-loved friend of Bill W.
Steve is survived by his wife and soul mate, Donna, two daughters, Jamie Porcaro (Doug) and Holly Buhrow (Tim) all of Conway, 6 grandchildren, Bridget, Geena, Vince, Eva, Brandon, Jordyn, brother, Larry Long of Jonesboro and his special friends, Russ Bixler, Bob Moon, and Joe Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Faulkner County, 2219 Washington Ave., Conway, AR 72032.

Rest in Peace now, Pappy. You worked hard, played hard and loved hard, and your time here on Earth is now done. You'll never know just how much you touched SO many lives around you and how much of a blessing you were to so many people. You will be deeply missed, but I know you will be there waiting for us in Heaven when it's our turn. You will always be in our hearts.

Steve helped remodel a number of properties for me and became a great friend. He loved the Lord and would often speak of how blessed he was to be saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. Today he is resting in the presence of our Savior. Till we meet again...
