Clarice M. Heffington, 82, of Conway went to be with the Lord Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born August 10, 1933 in Halfway, MO to the late Harry H. and Elizabeth Smith Barham. Clarice was also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Otis Heffington and one brother, Kenneth Smith.
Clarice was of the Baptist faith and a retired state employee. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clarice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Clarice is survived by her children, Otis R. Heffington, Delores Wheat, Michael Heffington, and James L. Heffington (Tammy) all of Conway, sister, Barbara Smith of Pleasant Hill, MO, grandchildren, Jason Swan, Tara Shannon (Sam), Shawn Heffington, and Brandon Heffington, great-grandchildren, Jesse, Sadie, Little Jon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with burial following at Oak Bowery Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Swan, Sam Shannon, Clarence Anderson, J.P., Highway and Pirate.

I met Mrs. Clarice through church. She was a very sweet loving person and friend. She will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
