Baylon Ray Braswell, 66, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on November 1, 2015 at Izard County Medical Center in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Baylon was born on August 1, 1949 in Ingalls, Arkansas to the late Ramond and Christine (Jackson) Braswell. Baylon was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. Baylon was also a truck driver for many years.
Baylon is survived by his wife Joyce (Forrest) Braswell of the home; one son, Shawn Edward Braswell; one daughter, Angela Michelle Roque; two brothers, Eddie Braswell and Steven Braswell; four sisters, Nancy Smith, Brenda Griffith, Ramona Faramazi, and Deborah Provine; as well as six grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
Baylon was preceded in death by his parents, Ramond and Christine (Jackson) Braswell, and grandparents, Ed and Ella Jackson and Charlie and Era Braswell.
A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas with Brother David Campbell officiating.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
