David John McCullen Sr., age 87, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October29, 2015, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 16, 1928, in Fon DuLac, Wisconsin, the son of James T. and Sadie Grace (Ewalt) McCullen. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Bobette (Shuey) McCullen; his brothers, Gene and Jerry; and his granddaughter, Julie.

David was in good faith and conscious and loved being with family, playing games, and eating together. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1952 to 1954 as an air policeman. He was also a police officer in Azusa, California in 1970, a truck driver, and in the end worked at Dollar General in Harrison.

David is survived by his sons, Dave, Jr., Richard, Fred, Matt and Bryan; his daughters, Sandy Dines, Melissa Emery, and Brenda Lowery; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his older sister, Jackie.

A visitation was held Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Roller-Christeson in Harrison.
