Bonnie Jean Parker, 72, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born May 4, 1943 in Caraway, AR to the late Ulis and Vitches Collins Fletcher. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. She loved flowers, gardening, canning, sewing and tending to her birds.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bob Parker.
Survivors include her son, Wayne (Marta) Rusley-Parker of Jonesboro; a daughter, Tammie House of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Sherman (Nicole) House, Brody (Lola) McClaren and Bille Jean McClaren all of Jonesboro; three great grandchildren, Jacob McClaren, Kendall McClaren and Emma Elam all of Jonesboro; a brother, Otis (Judy) Fletcher of Jonesboro; brothers-in-law, Doyle Parker of Turlock, CA, John (Jeanette) Parker and Jim (Connie) Parker all of Jonesboro; sister at heart, Sue Sherrill; sisters-in-law, Marcie Smith and Judy Clark both of St. Charles, MO, and Georgia Spence of Kerrville, TX; and her special cousin, Sandra Fletcher of Sun City, AZ.
Chapel services will be 12:00 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with John Freeman and Dale Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Robbie Parker, Mike Parker, Eric Parker, Todd Smith, Nathan Coleman and George Pruitt will serve as active pallbearers.
Brooks Cravens, Chris Parker, Wayne Tidwell, Floyd Goodman, Adam Parker, Matt Brandon, Jackson Coleman, Steve Gray, Gary Wilson, Steve Fletcher and Kenneth Layne will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials in Mrs. Parker's honor be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
The family would like to thank all the staff of NEA Baptist Hospital, and a special thanks to Dr. Clark, Dr. Murphy, Dr. Steve Woodruff, and nurses, Rick Daniels, Laura Foster, Amanda Dixon and Whitney Bradford for their kindness and compassion.

I am so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. I just found out today so I missed the visitation. May God be with all of you during this sad time. I watched the video and I know the wonderful memories will comfort you all for a long time to come.
