Martha,
Sorry about your mom. I hope you, Leslie, and Patches are okay.
To Martha's family: I attended the West Helena United Methodist Church from 1976-1983 when I was teaching and living in West Helena, and I have the fondest memories of your mother! I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone and she always had a smile on her face (and was usually laughing!). Although I know you will miss her just think of the joy she is bringing to Heaven! I give your mom part of the credit for me being United Methodist, along with some other Godly women, Mrs. Moye, Peggy Pace Ruane, Marilyn Waddell, Judy Buchanan and the list goes on and on...Your family is in my prayers in the days and weeks ahead. God Bless You All!
She was a very good friend and I will miss her!
Sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs.Martha. She was one of the best neighbors I could have ever asked for. She was just like a mother to my kids. They thought of her like a grandmother. Prayers being said for comfort and peace for your family.
