Roy L. Johnston of Newnata died 9-9-15 at the age 93 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, sister Leona, and wife Ivy Horrell Johnston. Born June 3, 1922 he spent his early years near Carroll, Nebraska farming with his father. After serving overseas in WWII he returned to Nebraska, married and had four children and continued to farm.

Later the family moved to Eudora, KS where he worked in construction many years. Eventually he bought a farm in Hamilton, MO, where he lived until he retired to Newnata.

He and his wife traveled a lot and enjoyed family and friends. He was a hard working, generous, and fun loving man who will be missed by his children, Joseph Johnston, Diana Galloway, Donna Willoughby, and Roiann Hudspeth and grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mr. Johnston will take place on Friday, September 18, 2015, 10:00AM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas.
