In loving memory of Mona Leone Bell, age 98, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Hospice House in Harrison, with her daughter and niece at her side. She was born April 1, 1917, in Hope, Arkansas, and has lived in Harrison for almost 75 years. She was a homemaker, loved socializing, sewing, quilting, flowers, gardening and canning. Mona was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Harrison since 1946. Throughout the years she had served as Deaconess and Sabbath school teacher for the kindergarten.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Raymond Eaton; her husband, Enoch Charles Bell; her son, Charles Bell; her brother, Russell Eaton; and her sister, Myra Osborn.

Mona is survived by her sister, Judy Casement, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn E. and Marilyn Brown-Bell of Michigan, Bruce B. Bell of Louisiana, and Cheryl Smith-Bell of Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna B. and Johnny D. Crisp, of Tennessee; and her daughter-in-law, Valerie and David Miles.

Mona is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Cherie Bell Knecht, Glenn Bell, Jr. and wife Gina, Kevin Bell and wife Sheela, Clay Bell, Tracy Taylor and husband Heath, Kyle Heaton, Taylor Vincent, Amanda E. Crisp, Todd Salmon, Sharon Bell-Pitts and husband Jimmy, Debbie Bell-Luedtke and husband Scott and Linda Bell-Cort; nineteen great-grandchildren, Kelsea Allen and husband Rodney, Jacob Knecht, Cassidy Munson, Madaleine and Mallory Bell, Jaxon and Cooper Bell, April Wakeham, Michael and Jordan Taylor, Amanda, Ashley and Amy Lovass, Jamie Moser, Justin Rushing, Tiffany Lewis and David Lay; nine great-great-grandchildren; and all her beloved nieces and nephews.

We give special thanks to Dr. Roy lee, the entire staff at Hospice of the Hills, all in house and out, including the doctors, nurses, caregivers, especially Theresa, and all Angies, the ones at Hospice House, volunteers, Richard and Lorraine Dix, and all of Mona's friends and neighbors. Both church families at SDA churches in Arkansas and Knoxville, Tennessee for all their love and support.

Visitation was Monday, August 31, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, 519 N. Spring Street, Harrison, AR 72601; with funeral service immediately following with Pastor Daniel Kaffenberger officiating. Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Sonny Starkey, Clay Bell, Bert Daniels, James Tigg, Gary Shearer and Steve Edmisten.

Honorary pallbearers were David O'Neal, Dr. Roy Lee, Paul Wilton, Jim Bohannon, Johnny Eaton, David Miles, Larry Griffith, Norman Shackelford and Johnny Lee.

Love and prayers for my cousins Glen, Bruce and Donna and their families. All our good times together in Harrison were because Aunt Mona was such a sweet, loving welcoming lady.
Dale and I will see you tomorrow and join in celebrating her amazing life with you on Monday.
