Gola was a great friend to my mother Eloise Magness when they worked together at the IRS in the late 1950's and was a close friend for the rest of my mothers life until her death in 2006. As a little boy I was very lucky to have known Gloa's mother and father before they passed away. Gola was always a joy to visit with my family and two children. I was always fun to sign the black board inside the front door for many years. We are all truly goring to miss Gola!
My Mom was a long time friend of Mrs.Boone(she always called her Gola). My Mom got to know her a very long time ago when she worked with her sister,Allene ,at the LaGrande Beauty Shop in Benton. They kept in touch, mostly by phone calls through the years. My Mom and I had the pleasure of attending Mrs.Gola's 91st birthday party and she was able to come to my Mom's birthday the following year. How cool to have a longtime friend, especially one like,"Gola". My Mom and I send our condolences to her family. Brenda Brown and Jean Fulcher
I will be truly lost with the passing of my dear friend Ms. Gola - she was one of a kind.
I almost called her this morning to ask how she was enjoying the rain - but then I thought -
she probably sent it to us.
God Bless Her.
Gola
Thank you for all the years. You have been with me through so many things. You will be missed so much. Sunday late afternoon our doorbell rang and I thought by what I could hear it was you...
A great lady
Blessings rest upon me because I knew you.
It was always a joy to visit with Gola at the Ramsey/Boone family reunions. My parents loved her, and they instilled that love for her into my life. She will be missed by my husband and me.
Ms. Gola,
I will so miss our talks, your stories, your recipes, you calling me by my full name, your wonderful, fried green tomatoes and so many more things to remember you by. I still have your messages on my phone and will never forget you. You have known me since I was walking and I will cherish all of your words of wisdom, your zest for life, and your spitfire ways of taking care of business. The flowers you gave me over the years I will now look at as they bloom and remember your smile and you always.
I love you, Patty Jo
I have been fortunate to have heard so many stories of Gola while growing up in Bryant. I will miss her. She was a tremendous help with the Bryant cemetery when my folks passed. My husband and I took her some flowers and she invited us in and shared some stories with us. I will treasure that visit. Both of my parents were very fond of Gola. Last year, knowing that my folks were gone, she sent me a Christmas Card. It was so thoughtful of her to remember me.
Gola, May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you and
Be gracious unto you.
May the Lord lift his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Sending love, and prayers to the family.

I will miss seeing Ms Boone outside just a waving! My boys would see her and say slow Down so I can wave:) this was a daily thing for us:)Rest in Peace Ms. Boone!
The most wise, strong willed woman I know. So knowledgeable and giving. I've known her since 1970-80's. What a wonderful, godly woman.
Ms. Boone was a special lady. She stayed active her entire life. First time I saw Ms. Boone she was working in her garden. I stopped one day and introduced myself. We became good friends. I would stop to visit her with my granddaughter. Ms. Boone would tell stories of her family history and of Bryant/Benton. When we would leave she would always send us home with flowers out of her garden . We are going to miss her so much. Boone road and her home, which she lived 90 years in,will never be the same!
Rest in peace beautiful lady! All our love

Known Gola all my life. She had a lot of history to share. She will be missed.
Ms. Gola, you will be missed! I enjoyed seeing you each time you came into the office. You invited Shelly and I to come to your 100th birthday, and we recently talked about coming to visit you so you could teach us how to make those Mile High Biscuits. I'm so sorry we didn't get a chance to come and enjoy your stories and your wisdom. Prayers for you family that you've left behind! We will see you again.
Will love and miss you, our friend forever.
